Blooming Forward: My Story of Starting Over and Starting Something New
This past year has been one of the most transformational seasons of my life. It hasn’t been without its share of anxious mornings, uncertain decisions, and tear-filled prayers. But it’s also been full of rediscovery, creativity, and a sense of purpose I hadn’t felt in years.
After decades in direct sales and network marketing, I knew something had shifted in me. What once felt fulfilling now felt like a chapter I had fully written. And it was time to begin a new one.
That new chapter started with a leap of faith—and a name: Prairie Bloom Media.
Launching a digital marketing agency in the middle of life’s chaos might not sound like a “safe bet,” but it felt like the right one. I knew I wanted to help entrepreneurs, coaches, and small business owners grow their businesses through simple, effective social media ad campaigns. Not just any campaigns—strategies rooted in clarity, connection, and results.
But the transformation didn’t stop there. As I began helping others grow their businesses, something inside me kept stirring. A whisper, a nudge…
What about the women who feel lost in their own lives? What about the ones who raised families, built careers, wore all the hats—and now feel like they don’t even recognize the woman in the mirror?
That’s when the vision for Blooming Hearts Life Coaching began to take root.
It was born from my own journey back to myself. From learning how to sit in the silence, embrace the uncertainty, and ask: What do I want now? What am I meant to offer in this next season?
And truthfully, the road here wasn’t smooth. I even took a job hoping it would fulfill me—thinking maybe this was the “next right step.” But instead, I found myself drowning in anxiety, exhaustion, frustration, self-doubt, and a deep feeling of unworthiness. I became addicted to outside validation, chasing it like it would somehow fix the ache inside. But that search only led me further away from myself.
Eventually, I realized that all this seeking was just a way of trying to avoid rejection. And what I needed most wasn’t approval from the world—but to look within. To remember that my worth doesn’t come from performance or praise—it comes from my Creator. He is my source, my steady place, and the one who calls me worthy, even when I feel messy.
Because transformation? It’s not a lightbulb moment. It’s not an “I’ve arrived!” banner waving proudly in the wind. It’s work. It’s the renewing of your mind. It’s facing the hard, the broken, and the beauty—again and again. And choosing to show up with love.
I’m walking through the fire of transformation—and I know I’m not alone. It’s beautiful, messy and can be hard, but so worth it.
If you’re a woman standing at the crossroads, wondering who you are now—after the kids are gone, after the career shift, after the loss or burnout or breakdown—I want you to know: it’s not too late to bloom.
You are not behind. You are not broken. You are becoming.
The best is still ahead, friend. I’m building something new—and I’m building it for you. Whether you’re ready to grow your business or rediscover your heart, I’m here to step into the journey with you. Let’s find the beauty together.
With Grace & grit,
Lynda
