🌿 The Power of a Planted Woman

Rooted Reflections | Ed. No. 13

Jeremiah 17:7–8 (NLT)

But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water.
Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought.
Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

There’s something sacred about being planted.

Not just showing up when it’s exciting.
Not just blooming when it’s convenient.
But staying rooted—deep in purpose, faith, and obedience—even when it’s quiet.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on this as I sit with my planner in the early mornings, asking the Lord to order my steps. I look at all the things He’s entrusted to me—my business, my family, my calling—and I can finally feel it...

The roots are taking hold.

Some days are still uncertain.
But more and more, I’m noticing how the seeds I planted in faith are starting to push through the soil.
The clarity.
The clients.
The content that finally feels aligned.
It’s not perfect. But it’s becoming beautifully clear.

This is what it means to be planted.
You don’t rush the process—you partner with it.

The planted woman doesn’t hustle to bloom—she trusts that growth is happening beneath the surface.
She’s not frantic… she’s faithful.
She’s not uprooted by every change in the weather… she’s rooted in truth.

And when the time is right?
The fruit speaks for itself.

🪴 Root Check:

Where are you being called to stay—even when you’re tempted to start over?

What’s starting to take root that you might not have noticed yet?

Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see the evidence of slow growth and the courage to keep showing up for what you’ve planted.

💛 From My Planner to Yours:

This week, I’m reminding myself that not every result is instant—but that doesn’t mean it’s not working.
Perseverance and patience are building something I’ll be proud of.

What’s one thing you’re staying rooted in this week?
